The Impact Factory in Duisburg is a newly developed incubator from Anthropia gGmbH, based in Duisburg-Ruhrort on the premises of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH. It aims at two founding groups in the Rhine-Ruhr region:
The first group are the so-called pre-startups, which have developed a business idea that is neither mature nor validated. In the Impact Factory, they are accompanied on their way from a business idea to a business model.
The second group - the early startups - will have the chance to optimise their business model in the incubator and will be accompanied until their market entry. Although this group has the proof of concept and the prototype, they do not yet have a mature product or a go-to-market strategy.
It is important for the makers of the Impact Factory to address those socially entrepreneurial and impact-oriented startup teams that have special potential as founders and pursue viable and marketable business ideas that are economically sustainable and technology-oriented. They can expect a condensed programme of individual coaching, consulting and mentoring, integration into various cooperations, matchmaking with startups and other companies for co-innovation or co-development as well as support with marketing and PR measures.
Impact Factory Duisburg is a joint initiative of the founding partners Beisheim Stiftung, Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH, KfW Stiftung and Anthropia gGmbH with the support of the programme partners Der Paritätische NRW and Wilo-Foundation.
